Liao Genshen found that a large number of books on the list have been written in the past ten years, and 9% of them are online novels, such as Notes on Grave Robbery, Master, Breaking the Sky, etc. The popularity of online novels is closely related to teenagers’ reading habits. One of the multiple-choice questions in the survey was "Which way do you read after class?" Among them, 60.6% students chose to read by mobile phone and 13.8% by computer. Two sets of data show that digital reading goes hand in hand with traditional paper reading, which has become the two most important extracurricular reading methods for teenagers in Guangzhou.
