Most of these vehicles were left behind by the "fraudulent compensation" a few years ago, because the bus subsidies were high in previous years, which led some enterprises to buy a large number of new energy buses in order to get government subsidies, and abandoned or even burned them after being idle.

"Gree Titanium New Energy" announced in WeChat official account that the company had changed its name. Since November 9, 2021, Yinlong New Energy has changed its name to Gree Titanium New Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Gree Titanium"), which means that these cars were produced at least one year ago. However, because Gree’s plum blossom logo is affixed, it can be said that the car will not be very old. After all, the plum blossom logo will not be released until 2018.

As for the cause of the fire, the staff member said that he was investigating, but he thought that the possibility of spontaneous combustion was not great. After all, the temperature in Sanya in winter was not high.

As the hottest city in China, the temperature in Sanya in winter normally does not exceed 30 degrees, while the temperature in the car with direct sunlight is normally around 50 degrees.

If the spontaneous combustion factor is excluded, it is artificial. If, according to the staff, the car is confiscated by the court, there is no way to know what kind of resentment is involved. Some people estimate that the loss of vehicles burned by the fire can reach 150 million yuan according to the unit price of 1.7 million yuan per vehicle and the subsidy standard of 1 million yuan.
