　　A reporter asked: New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, winter vacation and other festivals and holidays are approaching, and many Taiwanese businessmen and Taiwanese students in the mainland are very concerned about the air tickets to Taiwan. What are the arrangements between the two sides of the strait for the winter vacation and the Spring Festival this year?

　　Zhu Fenglian, spokesperson of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, responded: The Spring Festival is the most important traditional festival of the Chinese nation, and the vast number of Taiwanese students, Taiwanese businessmen and Taiwan compatriots hope to return home smoothly for the holidays and family reunion. We feel the same way about their wishes. Relevant mainland authorities will actively make preparations for cross-strait Spring Festival overtime flights in line with the purpose of serving compatriots on both sides of the strait and facilitating the return of Taiwan compatriots. But to solve this problem, we also need the cooperation of Taiwan Province. It is hoped that Taiwan Province will listen more to the reflection of Taiwanese businessmen and Taiwan compatriots, come up with attitudes and practices that meet people’s expectations, and don’t deliberately set up obstacles to prevent the vast number of Taiwanese businessmen and Taiwan compatriots from returning home to reunite with their families.
