Sanctions against Russia at the expense of Europe and the United States reap the benefits of fishermen

The United States is the initiator of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and continues to profit from it. The United States increased its sanctions against Russia, which made its European allies pay for it, while taking advantage of it.

The United States makes "energy wealth" and Europe suffers from high natural gas prices.

EU countries were highly dependent on Russian energy, and about 30% of imported crude oil and 40% of imported natural gas came from Russia.

After the outbreak of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the United States pressured European allies to impose sanctions on Russia, trying to cut off the energy links between Russia and European countries, and turned the energy demand to the United States in an attempt to make an "energy fortune".

On March 25, the United States and the European Union launched an energy cooperation plan, which will expand the export of liquefied natural gas from the United States to the European Union. According to the data of Luft Company, a data provider of American financial market, in the past March, the export of liquefied natural gas in the United States was about 7.43 million tons, an increase of nearly 16% from the previous month and a record high. Among them, Europe has become the largest export destination of liquefied natural gas in the United States for four consecutive months, accounting for about 65% of American exports.

However, the transportation and storage costs of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the United States to Europe are higher, and the construction of related facilities is complicated, which can not fully meet the demand of Europe. European countries can only bear the skyrocketing natural gas prices.

Europe’s reduction of Russian oil imports has caused oil prices to soar.

Russia is the second largest oil exporter in the world after Saudi Arabia. After the outbreak of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, European countries imposed sanctions on Russia, which led to a decrease in oil supply from Russia. Gunnvor Group, an energy trading giant, warned that if Russian oil supply continued to decrease, Europe would face an "extreme shortage" of oil, which led to a sharp rise in oil prices.

However, the United States continues to profit from it and imports a lot of Russian oil. Popov, Deputy Secretary-General of the Russian National Security Council, said on the 3rd that the volume of oil imported by the United States from Russia increased by 43% in the last week, reaching 100,000 barrels per day.

American military-industrial complex makes use of European security dilemma to make "war money"

In addition, the Russian-Ukrainian conflict has caused European countries great anxiety about European security. It is difficult for Europe to get out of the security dilemma and can only increase investment in national defense. On March 27th, the German government announced that it would increase the defense fund by 100 billion euros, raising the defense expenditure to more than 2% of GDP. Not surprisingly, this big piece of "fat meat" should mainly fall into the mouth of American arms giants. Since the situation in Ukraine became increasingly tense in October last year, the share price of American military giants has risen dramatically and earned a lot of money.

At the same time, since the conflict between Russia and Ukraine on February 24, the US dollar has been sought after because of the rising risk aversion in the market. In March, the cumulative increase of the US dollar was 1.7%, and the increase in the first quarter was as high as 2.8%.

Peskov: Europe needs to wake up from "American whiskey"

Obviously, the United States has strengthened its ties with Europe in military, diplomatic and energy supply through the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. Thierry de Mont Brial, president of the French Institute of International Relations, bluntly said that Europe would suffer more and more from being kidnapped by the United States, and the Russian-Ukrainian conflict once again "made Europe understand the importance of taking its destiny into its own hands and striving for strategic autonomy".

Russian Presidential Press Secretary peskov said on the 2nd that Russia-Europe relations are unlikely to improve in the near future. He said that only when Europe "wakes up from American whiskey" and realizes that its own destiny is in its own hands, not the United States, can the relationship between Russia and Europe be repaired.
