On the first lap of driving, I set the driving mode to the standard mode. After driving in standard mode for one lap, I pressed the seductive red button to switch the vehicle to super sport mode. At this time, the floor oil started again, and the gearbox quickly judged my expanding mentality. The speed soared to more than 3000rpm, and then it didn’t come down all the way. The dynamic response came more directly in the low gear, and the speed was obviously different when entering in the same corner with the same throttle depth. In the super sports mode, the steering power is also automatically adjusted, and the steering feel is more calm, which has the feeling of a high-performance car.
Today, I also experienced the high-speed NVH performance of MG HS in an all-round way. The decibel values of the noise inside the car are 57.6, 59.6 and 67.1 at 60km/h, 80km/h and 120km/h respectively. The actual feeling of sitting in the car is that only when the speed is above 100km/h, the obvious wind noise will be transmitted into the car, and the engine noise and tire noise will be kept well throughout.
According to the manufacturer’s introduction, the noise reduction strategy of MG HS is divided into four parts, namely, reducing the engine sound, increasing the sound absorption capacity of the engine compartment, improving the sound insulation capacity of the front wall and optimizing the acoustic environment of the carriage, and the highest level of NVH project is "giving users the sound they need", and the impedance compound muffler adopted by MG HS is responsible for this task.
